Studio Rags
Studio Rags is distinguished for its textile workshops and courses. Adults’ classes include Japanese Shibori dyeing, Pakistani Chunri dyeing, exclusive Indonesian Batik printing and Mixed media painting. Indonesian batik has been declared as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
These workshops are great for birthdays, Hen’s parties, or corporate team building.
Kids can learn contemporary Tie-dye, Paper Mache and popular Kids & Parents’ Painting class to celebrate occasions and nurture bonding. School incursions are offered as well.
Adults' workshops aim for personal projects, hobbies and making new friends.
youngsters discover new art forms & up-skill along with leisure leading into career opportunities.
Studio Rags has offered several workshops at various community centres, libraries, schools and participates in Adelaide Fringe Festival regularly.

Rehana Usman.
I am an artist with a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from National College of Arts, Pakistan.
I have served in the leading textile companies of my country and participated in several international trade shows. Print design and styling have been my expertise both in apparel and home textiles.
I have run several workshops for textile students, along with being a thesis consultant and an associate professor at NCA.
I have served as a costume designer for kids serial in the national TV.
I am also passionate about watercolour painting and famous Pakistani Truck Art. I write children's stories for my Urdu podcast and make illustrations. I love puppetry and mime in performing arts.
I love to share my skills and knowledge with other people, especially youngsters. I firmly believe that younger generations deserve to learn all the good things to build a productive society. I'm proud of my origin and culture.
